text: There are no heads to be seen as the people of Chingmiren leave them in the jungle once they have fallen off the bamboo poles. They do not keep them in the village. The dead are buried in the house but wooden memorials are evidence of a man's deeds. We saw for example a long row of forked posts in phallic form and posts with birds' heads' points
