text: (211) Camp Chingmei.
text: 20/11/1936. Started off around seven o'clock in fine weather and trekked around the 7000 feet high saddle which is the watershed between the Shetche and Tiekyung. At first we passed through open jhum country where here and there the job's tears was still standing. The last past went through dense dark forest. This part of the way is much feared as many have already fallen here under Panso's attack.
