text: | Noklak on the way to Pangsha had nothing to do with the attacks on Saochu and Kejok and therefore has no reason to fear us. Still they refused to send gaonburas to our camp and only sent a message that we could go through their territory but should not enter their village and they would neither clear the path nor set up a camp. In addition they apparently came close yesterday to participate in open hostility towards us. |
