The Pangsha, Ponyo (Himbu) and Tsawlaw people came again this morning. Pangsha had used the previous evening to make peace with Chingmei which is very reassuring as we had already feared the revenge of Pangsha for Chingmei. Mills decided to give Mongsen and Mungo the red gaonbura cloaks to further seal the peace agreement. Mungo swore an oath by scratching a stone with his dao while declaring peace and friendship. The Noklak gaonburas also received red cloths. None of the men put on his red cloth as they have to perform a genna before wearing a new and so incredibly red fabric. |
