text: Also a lot of boys had come from Wanching and when we started off we were, together with the Tamlu coolies who carried my luggage, an enormously long train. But my tent I sent directly to Borjan where I will need it for a tour of the lower lying villages on the furthest ridge of the Konyak mountains. Outside the gate of Tamlu I saw a funeral memorial (78) where a rather roughly carved flat human figure was standing in the midst of a row of little boards which were pointed at the top
