text: After these festive meals a small break occurs. I discover that many of the young Tanhai women come from Wakching. They are predominantly Aukheang girls but there are also some of the Angban who have married to Tanhai. The Tanhai people only dance with the Aukheang morung and therefore they have little opportunity to get acquainted with girls of the Thepong, for example. The Angban people they probably meet when they pay tribute to the Ang of Wakching.
