text: (139) Now the Yan-hai men also went to the village where the people of the Yan-lem had already started dancing in front of the Ang's house. As this dance was of the usual kind and nothing else was to happen I returned home together with Chinyang. A Tanhai gaonbura had so thoroughly participated in the festivities that he now could only mumble with a heavy tongue and in the Yan-lem morung I saw one of the young heroes completely drunk, lying on the pounding board. When we spoke to him he could barely lift his head. Chinyang bought a young dog for 8 annas, hardly more than three weeks old whose mother has died. Now he wants to raise it.
