text: (196) After lunch Shankok arrives. He complains to me that everybody borrows money from him and only a few return the loan. He even has debtors in Chi, Totok and Chinlong. Some of them even had borrowed the money from his father and now they deny the debt altogether. Apparently many take advantage of his youth and his wealth. He also tells me that just now young men have arrived from Kongan to pay a ceremonial visit in connection with the death of a Balang man, therefore we go to the village together.
