text: For several years Chen had no Ang but the men who took on the Ang's tasks had no luck and their harvests were poor. Then the people of Chen decided that it would be better after all to have an Ang and they called back the boy whose mother had saved him. This boy was not from the Great Ang clan but from the lesser one but he was instated as Ang and still has that position today. He was granted only a few of the rights of the Ang however and he does not receive parts of the sacrificed animals, nor does he get free labour for his fields.
