text: Again there is much demand for quinine and I also have to bandage some cuts. Typical was the case of a young girl (95) who came to my hut to get a foot infection bandaged, and who also kept completely still throughout my treatment. But as soon as the bandage was on and before I could say a single word about further treatment she ran away as though chased by the devil.
