text: (112) I ask what else would be done with the head and am told that it will remain for some time on the tree in front of the Ang's house and then the two parts will be carried into the morungs. For this final ceremony at which a big feast will be celebrated the Longba will have to be called back from Mon. Apparently Oting never had its own Longba clan and the former Longba too came from Mon and when the people of Oting left Nganching and founded the present village, the clan responsible for the enemy head genna stayed behind in Nganching.
