text: This morning I heard loud singing from the village. The boys of the Bala went off to the fields to work together. Around ten o'clock I then also went to the fields, indeed to the old fields which are in the big dale below the bungalow. At this time there were many people going to the fields in larger and smaller groups. The women with a basket on their back, the men carrying dao and spear. The majority of the old fields now have already been cleared of weeds and have been levelled. Some have already been planted.
