text: While most people of the village work in the fields, in each morung there are two grown-up youths and three small boys who take turns in staying in the village to be there in case of a fire breaking out. Usually they sit in the morung and spend their time with all kinds of small tasks (153) if they are not sleeping, which a Konyak is capable of doing at all times of day.
