text: In the Ang house which has been rebuilt since I was here last we are received in the room where the men usually sit. The Ang of Wanching is here too (242) as well as several Thepong youths of Shankok's age. They all are served rice beer which unfortunately is not good. After some time the "Little Ang", a cousin of the Ang, also brings rice and pork from the adjacent room where one hears the voices of women and children.
