text: Last night we had a heavy thunderstorm with thunder and lightning. In the morning I met Ahon who said that in Shiong lightning struck near the morung and that therefore the entire village was holding a genna today and did not work in the fields. He said I should come to Shiong with him if I wanted to see the ceremony which will be held to exorcise the misfortune brought by the lightning. Of course I did not need to be told twice and soon after 11 o'clock we were marching to Shiong.
