text: After one of the old men has built a small platform he puts 'hai-mei' leaves on it and piles some rice onto these. Then he takes a black hen out of a basket, turns it towards the altar (4) and then cuts off its head with a dao. He then impales it on a bamboo stick along with the hen's feet and wings
