text: Since Kauffmann has bought some Wakching items the bungalow is now surrounded all day by diligent traders who come with the most impossible objects hoping for good business which they then get some of the kind. Especially now before the Oulingbu, people want cash and as Shankok says, "Would sell their own heads". Yesterday the Ang of Longkhai brought me the two ordered grave figures in the form of two warriors in full costume. They really are beautiful but they also cost me 25rs. This gave me the idea to go to Longkhai tomorrow together with Kauffmann and to stay for two days. There are some things I want to photograph in Longkhai and I also want to order some more carvings.
