text: Yesterday the Oukheang boys repaired the 'yo' of the Balang in Dzemang's house. The disagreement between the Thepong boys and Bala girls is still not cleared up and so both morungs remain without a 'yo' and the boys will not receive gifts of meat at the Oulingbu. (51) Yet all was going well already towards a reconciliation. The men of the Thepong paid the Bala girls a fine of 4rs. soon after the known incident which happened already more than a year ago and the Bala girls urged them to accept the gifts of meat at the Oulingbu, but the reconciliation was shattered when the Thepong youths requested a nominal fine of 1r. from the Bala girls.
