text: Later I set some question right about inheritance rules with Shankok's help. In contrast to the Angamis, among the Konyak punishments do not take an automatic form. While intentional arson is punished by exile there is no punishment if a retarded person or a child sets a house on fire although in the later case the child's father will pay a fine. Some villages however, as for example Totok, do not take a fine for arson.
