text: Near the house we happened to see Shikna, Shankok's lover, who will probably soon give birth to her child. Quite casually I said to Medzou, "There is Shikna", while he of course knew that I was thinking of Shankok. Medzou made a very serious face in response and said embarrassed, "She is my daughter, therefore I cannot say anything". (104) Of course he only means that she is his daughter in the sense of the morung relationship.
