text: Tonight was the most turbulent night in a long time. I was woken by the storm rattling my tent and the gusty rain splashing on the surface. The small lattice window was constantly lit up by lightning and crashing thunder sounded over the howling of the wind in the tree-tops. Sleepy and unwilling to do anything I tried to convince myself that the weather would soon pass over, but when a wind gust pushed down my tent rope so violently that my tilley lamp crashed to the ground, I was startled out of my lethargy.
