text: In the morning I worked with Yongang and Medzou and I talked in particular about matters connected with birth. This morning or during the night already the Ang Chinkak's little three year old daughter, Ngindzai, died, probably of dysentery. (155) It is very likely that she could have been saved if Chinkak had brought her to the dispensary in time. He once had asked me for medicine and I had given him some 'Yatren' pills but had not taken the matter seriously as I am constantly asked for something against stomach pains and these illnesses hardly ever have any other reason than over-eating or eating spoiled meat.
