(90) Informant: Nie-ang, gaonbura of Ang-ban. Ancestor of the Shung-to-hu clan = Shung-ta. The Shungtahu (sic) clan was driven away at the time when Pong-yong was dismissed. Before Pong-yong there were: Ngam-wang and Dzem-ang, Angs of Wakching - they were Ang-yong-ba and of the same clan though a different family as Pong-yong. The latter was really Ang-ha-ba. Pongyong first married the widow of Dzemlang called Shimlong. She died (91) without leaving a male heir. Pong-yong married a Ben wife by whom he had several sons. |
