text: (13) Rain making.
text: There is no real ceremony for rain making in Tamlu, only the morung boys make bull-roarers of bamboo and swing them. Then there will be a similar noise in the sky, it will thunder and rain.
text: In Wakching the boys catch a crab and hang it just above the surface of the water. Then it will rain. There is no ceremony to stop rain. For making rain the Wakching boys whirl bull-roarers made of flat wood.
