text: (123) Head-taking ceremonies: When the head is brought in no genna is made at the village entrance. It is taken at once to the morung and fastened at the drum, and the men beat the drum. Then, on the same day, the head is taken to the house of the Ung, there is one in each khel and he is of Honghahu clan. It is put on the ground in front of the house and the Ung breaks an egg over the head and feeds it with madhu and says: [konyak]. (124) Then the young men dance carrying the head. Then the head is tied to the head tree of the khel. The next month, after cows and pigs are brought and madhu is prepared, another ceremony is performed, the Hehuba. On that day first the Ung leans a bamboo to the head tree, then all the other men. No stone is put up. Then the head is hung up in the hall of the morung.
