text: (140) The great spring festival is called O-ya-bu. It lasts four days.
text: 1st day. A-shoi-bu (like p. 70). The Benba kills all the animals sacrificed (cf. p. 177). The Ang receives one hind-leg of every animal bred in the village, not of those brought from other villages. A platform is built in front of the Ang's house and a bamboo erected. No platforms are built in front of the morungs.
text: 2nd day. O-ya-yasha (like p. 73) The girls also change their earrings.
text: 3rd day. O-ya-ya-nu (like p. 74 f.) The Ang dances too. No tug-of-war (141) takes place at Longkhai. 4th day. Wen-shan-bu (like at Oting) (Wen-bau-bu)
