(11) Last year a Bala man, Yongyo of Leunok clan, (his nick-name Yongyo ou-niu (ou-niu = hen) because he is like a female chicken!) committed incest with his father's brother's daughter, Shekio (nickname Shekio ou-lau = because she had eyes like a bird). She was first married to Chinyang (Aukh. 37), he divorced her and gave 6 layas. Then she lived in her cousin (Yongyo's) house and they committed incest, though he is married. Both were formally exiled. Shikio went to Wanching. This year (12) Yanang (Yanahu, Thepong) fetched her from Wanching and married her. Yongyo never actually left Wakching, but he left his house and lives now in the house of one of his clansmen. His wife stayed in his house with their two sons. Without formally divorcing his wife, Yongyo married Shuiang (Yanahu, Thepong). |
