text: (103) The boys and girls sing alternative songs when they meet on the platforms. These songs are all improvised. A man may sing: [konyak] (104) A girl may sing: [konyak] (105) ie. 'When you are will me your tears flow, when you are with your wife you laugh. But leaving your wife behind, you came here; yet you love her more than your girl friends". (106) In the language of songs the girls of the different morungs are called in the following way: Aukheang and Thepong - ning wang phung-niu (phung-niu means literally adulteress of girl who had many love affairs) shim-la-na
text: Angban: nang meng wanou (hornbill) shim la na
text: Balang and Bala: da-wan phung niu shim la-na
text: The idea is, don't get married soon, remain out "phung-niu"s, our girl friends and mistresses.
