(117) The Ang of Wakching receives from the villages the following tributes: Tamlu: nothing (only the Bala receives some tribute.) Chingtang 9 to 15 heiniu baskets of dhan according to harvest. At Oulingbu one piece of meat from every house. Shiong: 6 heinius of dhan. At Oulingbu shares of pork. Chinglong: 30 mu-do of dhan. (118) Chongwe: ought to give 30 mu-do baskets of rice. Longmien: 30 mu-do baskets of dhan. Totok (Chingha): 15 mu-do of dhan, one laya. Tanhai: 10 heiniu of dhan, these Chinkak has to share with Nie-ang. Punkhung: 15 mu-do of dhan. Originally P. gave the tribute to the Balang Ang, but (119) the Yinyonghu clan which has always been in some special connection with the Ang, arranged that this tribute should go to the village Ang. Lung-niu: gives three pieces of salt, as big as a head. Leang-ha: three (men's carrying) baskets of fish. Wangla: one dao. Kongan: one mudho of dhan from every house, now paid in money (Rs. 32/-). |
