text: Mau-shu-leu-pe is the third feast of merit. It lasts 12 days.
text: 1st day - the rice is dried.
text: 2nd day - " " " "
text: 3rd day - the boys and girls of the sacrificer's morung (and the related morung in case the sacrificer belongs to Tangsa or Monglem morung, which are "one clan"), pound the rice. 4th day - the madhu is made by the women of the house and the clans-women of the sacrificer.
text: 5th-6th day - the madhu must ferment and nothing is done.
text: (68) 7th day - the girls of the two morungs go to the jungle to fetch wood, and the men and boys bring "rushi" leaves to decorate the house.
text: 8th day (Telangtak) - the girls fetch banana leaves and the men build a machan (telang) in the sacrificer's house. Then bring a Y post.
text: 9th day (Mo) - first the Y post is erected, then two mithans, one after the other are fastened to the post and killed. The boys of the morung first cut the sinews of his feet and beat the drum, then the clan eldest, the Niam-gem-be, kills the mithan (69) by hitting it on the forehead with a wooden club. Then he says while feeding the Y post with madhu: [konyak]. These words are addressed to Ghagang.
text: (70) 10th & 11th day (both called Mo) - the whole village eats and drinks, All the men receive small pieces of the meat. This feast is always done at the time of the great "Bihu", - the Moha. They don't dance on those days. 12th - all the villagers go to the river to fish and eat the fish in the jungle. The next day the work in the fields is begun.
