text: (71) Mei-hong-niu - a deity who first made (created?) the tiger and the elephant. Then he (or she?) made the man, then he went to the sky. Mei-hong-niu is never invoked in prayers or at gennas.
text: The dead give to Akongtu-tangba a chunga with rice-beer as salaami. Then he tells them to go to the land of the dead (Yimbu). The "good" go by one path, the apothia death people by another. Only the shadow, la-ang-ha, goes to the land of the dead. La-ang-ha is the actual shadow of a man.
