text: A gaonbura in red cloth and another man received us in true Naga style with a chicken in a basket. Here visitors are not so common and hence welcomed. After a short rest we went to the village which is quite (42) close, built against a slope. On the outskirt granaries in short piles from several dense clusters. The houses are slightly more dispersed. They stand on the ground and are low buildings with a porch, main room and back porch. There are two morungs and we went to both and talked to the men.
