text: We then went to see other parts of the village. The Angban morung, recently rebuilt has now an iron roof, but there are traditional carvings and the interior is in good repair. - The Ang's house is small and as miserable as it used to be when I first came to Wakching. - I was told that part of the village had been burnt down, and the Ang's house was a makeshift building.
