We returned at dusk and paid a visit to Chingai, ex-dobashi of Oting, who now lives in a modern house (73) with a modern and capable Ao wife and three sons and two small daughters. He has obviously made good and engages in various business enterprises. His wife said how often he spoke about me and how she read all about her husband in "The Naked Nagas". To my slight embarrassment she gave me a valuable Ao scarf.
