text: Birth - On the 5th day after the birth the child is named by the father or grandfather. The mother is not segregated. There is no genna imposed on the house after a birth. A chicken is sacrificed so that the child may be healthy and live long. Tingwang is invoked and this sacrifice is performed by the oldest woman of the village. She eats the meat.
