The hat pegs in this I.B. are in some cases only fastened on by tintacks instead of screws. This suggests that the overseer did not check the work as well as he might have. He will kindly correct it at once and see that it is corrected in other I.Bs as well. I have noticed it elsewhere before this. |

Kekrima applied for a rise in the coolie rate to Tekhubama which is 6 annas as the distance is only 7 miles. I refused to raise the rate. They said that other villages got paid 8 annas for that stage, but I think this was a pure invention. |
