text: To Sakhabama. On the way the Seratsuma khel of Cheswejuma petitioned for a new G.B. Mesi is dismissed, but will be exempted revenue for 1917-18. Puniho is substituted.
text: There is a dispute at Cheswejuma about a path through the Seratsuma khel. Some men of the Rengatsuma objected to Seratsuma filling up a stagnant pool in the middle of the path as it necessitated diverting the path. This objection was disposed of and the pool filled up. Seratsuma applied today to be allowed to still further raise the low ground in that place. I gave them leave to do so. The Rengatsuma khel however, although it is nothing to do with them, object to this, principally because they are at enmity with the Seratsuma. In spite of my order the Rengatsuma G.B. says that he will bring a case at Kohima, and also threatens to riot with Seratsuma. There has already been one trifling riot over this matter and another is by no means unlikely, but if it takes place it will probably be of Rengatsuma's seeking. Resopu dobashi knows the place and the circumstances. The place is called Zakulu.
