request for previous orders concerning Serhima and Sachenobama; training as a compounder |
text: |
(2) I want Mr. Barnes orders about the Serhima, Sachenobama boundary and any order passed by Mr. Cantlie. |
text: |
(3) Send a parwana to Yangin to ask if he is prepared to train as a Compounder with prospect of being posted to Henima. It entails, I think one year at Dibrugarh or 3 at Kohima. |

No orders were passed as I learned there was an old case. But I. a cattle path was given to avoid damage to Sachenobama crops. |

II. Sachenobama was not to cultivate within 400 yards of Serhima until further orders after seeing papers. Their intention is to cultivate next year up to among the houses of Serhima and hold Serhima responsible for damage by cattle and pigs. I think I might go there on my way from a sessions at Dimapur as it is close to the road with Srisalhu and the papers and settle the matters. |

As ordered the diary below was sent to D.C. (with Cmmr's remarks on it). It was received back on 6/6/20. It appears that the D.C. is silent, probably for the present. |

Did you see my notes? There is nothing to indicate that you did. |

I'm sorry. I wrote my orders on the covering memo and will send a copy of them. |
