text: Inspected the Koio school. It is a good school and the boys well taught by Yampha to read and write in Lhota and simple arithmetic. The Lhota reading books are pretty rotten. Possibly the S.D.O. who is studying the Lhotas can supply a series of Lhota stories in Lhota for use as a reading book. If so it would be worth while printing them.
text: After inspecting the school I went down to the Dayang and fished. I suppose it must be a record for the Dayang to be clear in June and lower than in the cold weather. The fish were taking and I got 27 lbs. altogether. I camped at the Dayang bridge where Seleku built me a basha of sorts as I had no camp furniture with me.
