From Kongan to Wakching. The telegraph wire in one place is so low that it is impossible to ride along the path underneath without stooping to the saddle to avoid the wire. This is very dangerous and the present post at that spot should be replaced by a much higher one as soon as possible. The Sub-divisional Officer might arrange with the telegraphs direct. |

At Wakching I went to look at the site selected for the new Inspection Bungalow by the Sub-divisional Officer. I do not think that it will do. It is on the top of a hill and will be most unpleasantly exposed. There is a sheltered spot just below the hill top and to the east of it which would do very well, I think, and the Inspection Bungalow might be put there instead. |
