Administrative and building problems at Henima |

To Henima. The road beneath Sarama in an impossible condition and pretty bad beneath Sailim. |

At Henima the I.B. has the verandah rail all rotting away and nothing done. The Quarters of the Sub-Assistant Surgeon at the hospital are also very damp. Probably a deep eaves board at the back would help to keep them drier, and I dare say this could be done out of Annual Repair. In future the Dobashi at Henima must attend hospital twice a day from 9.0 to 10.0 am and from 3.0 to 4.0 pm unless away from Henima on duty. Revised orders are required for the rice indents and - as they have become unduly large - I shall have to stop the Dobashi's supply in future. As he is in his own village as a rule he cannot expect to get impressed rice, and no dobashi whose village is not at Henima need go there on command if he does not wish to. |

It is the dobashi's business etc. to call for coolies and so forth and the Overseer and Sub-Overseer will please note. The Nagas Gaonburas complain that the Muharrir is always sending them on messages to Mechangbung and elsewhere. |

I have promised Huthanang of Intuma Rs 20/- for work on his panikhet. This will be sent out by the next dobashi going on commands at Henima. |
