text: Counted Infoma, and heard a thorny case between the ancients and the Christians. A land case with Sihama was raked up which was settled some six years ago by an Angami dobashi, since dismissed, and to appeal against which the G.B. of Infoma came into Kohima at the time, he says, and asked an Angami Clerk, who told him nothing could be done, wherefore he did not appeal to the Deputy Commissioner, which was silly of him. The Sihama is an Angami village - Infoma Rengma.
text: Tesino son of Kabjetha of Tesifima has burnt his gun license No. 580. I want the name and the number verified and a new license issued and also a chit for the purchase of powder. This is to be ready to be called for on 12th February 22.
text: From Infoma I marched through Chimaikuma and Chichama to Nerhema - about 14 miles. It rained quite half the way. At Nerhema I was told that since I passed through a fortnight ago there had been 20 deaths - apparently from pneumonia, which is all over the place.
