text: Halted Jakhama. I visited the School and examined the boys. There are not many of them, but they are better taught, I think, than any Naga village school (excluding Kohima and possibly Khonoma) that I know.
text: The prolonged drought is going to be serious. The paddy seedlings are dying. A little rain fell in the morning but not enough to do much good. A few cases.
