text: To Zulhama. The Chaukidar applied for a rise of pay on the ground that he only gets Rs 8/- whereas the Chaukidars at other bungalows get Rs 10/-. I doubt if it is necessary or desirable to raise this Chaukidar's pay or any other Chaukidar's pay. A good many cases here.
