text: Doubled to Tekhubama, stopping for an hour at Khizobama where there are one or two cases. On the way Chobama met me and asked to have their village reassessed, and to be alloted a mile of bridle path to keep up, as they were short of cash. This is usually an unpopular business, and there will not be the least difficulty in obliging them.
text: The Chaukidar at Tekhubama complains that he is not paid enough for the bamboo channel which supplies the Inspection Bungalow with water. Possibly someone else can be found to take on the contract at the existing rate.
