text: Up the cart road as far as Kukidolan then into the jungle and up to Kumkiriya, the new Lhota village. Thence back through more jungle and even less path to Jharnapani and so to Ghaspani. More gun licenses at Ghaspani and a lot of troublesome idiots wanting rewards for pointing out, or being able to point out if required, seepages of oil. I said that seepages were no indication of proper places to sink wells and that the less they said about minerals on their land the happier for them.
