text: 21/2/1926 Kesoma to Sakhabama - about 15 miles, my mal going round by Cheswezuma while I climbed down to the Sizu through the jungle and went up to the river to see certain panikhets, and so to Sakhabama, where the Kidima gaonburas came in to say their village was burnt. As to that I had warned them earlier in the year that their village certainly would catch fire and burn if they were so infernally litigious "Kotha lagiche", and my stock goes up again.
