The police quarters in the thana are in very bad repair and there is no money to do the special repairs needed. These thatched buildings are most uneconomical and it is quite time proper quarters to the thana were built at Dimapur. The project for it dates to some pre-war age, and there is no likelihood of this thana's ever being moved or scrapped. A tin roof would save a great deal of money in the end. |
