text: To Lotsuphodung. Heavy rain most of the day. Received a belated dak and dealt with one or two cases and camped in damp, dirt and discomfort.
text: Enquiries were made of Pongithung for a man named Panshimo of that village, who was servant to Mr. Muspratt and thereafter to Mr. Savi and who went to Burma and has not since been heard of. He might perhaps be enquired for through the police Gazette. He has a sister and a nephew living in Pongithung who produced a silver print photograph of him.
