To Hanyimi via Ralung, counting both villages, about 10 miles. The S.D.O. left in the opposite direction for Lungkhung. The Lhotas want help in bridging the Dayang at the Nzu. There is a steadily increasing shortage of cane and they want wire. Wire of the lightest adequate description will cost Rs. 100/- at least. A local rate was suggested but doubt if the village which do not immediately would see the force of this at all, and those most concerned consider that they will have done more than their share if they carry up the wire from the railway and build the bridge. |
